Inactive/Dormant Client Accounts Policy

Invexmart Financial Services Pvt Ltd
SEBI Registration No.: INZ000317337

Purpose
This policy aligns with SEBI and exchange directives to handle client trading accounts inactive for 12 continuous months across all exchanges, ensuring security and compliance.

Definitions
A trading account qualifies as inactive or dormant after 12 consecutive months without trades. These accounts trigger flags in the Unique Client Code (UCC), back-office systems, and platforms.

Account Handling Procedures
Flagged accounts undergo periodic checks to block unauthorized access.

Trading remains suspended pending reactivation.

Reactivation mandates re-KYC, PAN-Aadhaar linkage, and checks on name, address, contacts, income, bank, and DP details.

Accounts dormant over 1 year need fresh documents and in-person verification (IPV), unless waived by mutual fund, IPO, or DP activity.

Client funds follow SEBI settlement rules.

Reactivation Process
Submit requests through phone, registered email, mobile app, or written form.

Less than 1 year inactive: Online verification enables quick activation.

Over 1 year inactive: Full re-KYC plus IPV required.

Approved requests update UCC status across exchanges and internal systems.

Untraceable Client Assets
Funds and securities from unreachable clients stay in segregated accounts. Release requires identity verification and compliance clearance.

Policy Review
Regular updates address regulatory shifts or internal needs, with Board approval for changes.
